One really nifty thing about the majority of our products is that they can be easily washed in a washing machine at 30°C! We've designed them this way because we know that our customers like to get creative with them (we recently heard of someone who was using a pouffe as a makeshift coffee table) so there's bound to come a time when you might want to give your pouffe/cushion/bath mat/tote bag (or something else) a little clean.
How to clean crocheted items 🧶
1) If your item comes with a cover (such as a pouffe or a cushion), you will need to remove the cover by untying it at the seam, and removing the stuffing from inside. For our pouffes don't worry about the stuffing falling out as it's all held together inside a cotton bag so there's nothing to worry about.
2) Put the cover (or the whole item if it's a tote bag or bath mat/rug) in the washing machine at 30°C.
3) Wash, dry (we don't advise tumble drying).
4) Replace the stuffing and tie up the seal again.
AND VOILÀ!
Please note: most of our products are made from 100% cotton yarn, it is only these products that can be washed. The few products that are made from wool (such as these cushions) shouldn't be washed as this will ruin the material.
